Every year the BRI (run by teams BBot, TNT and Cloud 9) host three events. These events help encourage the community to be active in the STEM community. Specifically, the FLL Explore Festival and Challenge Scrimmage help us form a motivating environment for kids to participate and grow a passion for robotics and engineering, while the FTC Qualifying Events help us grow our Gracious Professionalism!
Summer Camp June-August
The FTC teams host summer camps yearly in partnership with STEM education companies. Our summer camps range in ages from five to eighteen and further the education of STEM in young people through LEGO robotics. Learn more about our partnerships at our summer camp page.
FLL Challenge Scrimmage
Date: November 10, 2025 Location: 22 Tappan Street, Brookline, MA Time: 3:30pm-9pm This scrimmage will showcase our two BHS FTC robotics teams: the all-girls BBots and the newly formed co-ed TNT team. The BBots are hosting this event for 17 elementary school FLL teams, including 13 from local Brookline schools. They are supported by team TNT, who are learning to organize and manage impactful community events. The BBots have successfully hosted this scrimmage for the past 6 years, significantly aiding teams in their preparation for the Massachusetts qualifiers. Thanks to these efforts, a high percentage of teams typically advanced to the State Championships. Date: January 31 & February 1, 2026 Location: 22 Tappan Street, Brookline, MA The Brookline Bots first started the tradition of hosting FTC Qualifying events in Brookline last year (2024), hosting 20+ high school teams competing to move on to the state championship. This year, TNT joined this by hosting an additional qualifier and we hope to continue hosting this with all 3 teams.
BrickFest
