What is FTC?
In teams of up to 15 participants, high school students design, strategize, build, and code more advanced robots for competitions against other teams' robots. In FTC, there isn't a specific set of parts that must be used like in FLL. Some companies that supply parts for FTC are AndyMark, ServoCity, and Actobotics. In addition, FTC robots are generally larger than FLL robots, making them about the size of a microwave. FTC is mostly student-driven with adult coaches, and no technical skills are required to start or be on a team.
